Founded in early 2002 by a group of entrepreneurs in Asia and North America, our goal is to bring broad expertise, foresight and verve to the digital multimedia industry. Headquartered in Toledo, OH in the United States, Estone is positioned to experience the global marketplace, utilizing a production facility in Shenzhen, China for manufacturing of our products. Specializing in car audio and portable video/audio devices, Estone strives to simplify the way users interact with technology through new, creative ideas.

Past innovations include the Estone Ripper 500, the first aftermarket car audio player with a built-in removable hard drive capable of both recording and playing back audio with-in the player, no PC required. The Ripper 500 was also capable of ripping audio CDs to MP3 format and playing Windows Media Audio format files (non-copy protected). In addition to the Ripper 500, a Ripper 100 model was introduced. The Ripper did not include a removable hard drive, but instead offered an SD Card slot and USB port on the front which could be used to connect a USB storage device for recording and playback. In addition, by purchasing Estone’s USB to iPod accessory cable, customers could experience full control of their iPod from the CD deck controls, and the audio could be transferred digitally, without the need for an extra “AUX IN” connector or a loss in quality.

Today, Estone manufactures the world’s first iPod video recorder capable of recording live video and audio to a user’s iPod (Video or Classic) without the need for a PC. Video and music can also be played back through a television or stereo receiver. Offering features not found on competitor’s products, the iVideo is truly unique in its product category.

In addition, Estone is also an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for several companies world-wide, including high-end car audio and after-market power inverters. Recent products include a marine radio for Rockford-Fosgate, an in-car radio for Suzuki South America, and re-chargeable power cells capable of powering AC and USB powered devices. While other companies offer a similar product, ours has a unique style and ease-of-use not found elsewhere.

Our current flagship product is a new prototype RV unit soon to be released by a high-end aftermarket audio manufacturer. The unit features multi-zone output, an HD Radio ready receiver, DVD Video playback, and Auxiliary A/V in. Additionally, USB Key Drive functionality and iPod connectivity, with full control by the head unit (with optional Estone USB to iPod accessory cable), are unique to our design.
